And the award for most supportive boyfriend goes to… A$AP Rocky.
The “Fashion Killa” rapper continues to be Rihanna’s No. 1 fan, as he was spotted cheering on his pregnant partner from the audience at the 2023 Oscars Sunday evening.
After Rihanna, 35, wrapped her performance of “Lift Me Up” from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack, cameras cut to Rocky, 34, pumping his fist in the air and flashing a giant smile to celebrate.
Rocky, who was dressed in a dapper white and black tux, also raised his glass of champagne to signal a cheers.
Viewers immediately took notice of the “F–kin’ Problems” rapper’s vow of support.
“The way ASAP Rocky is always genuinely happy for Rihanna and cheering her on >>> #Oscars,” one person tweeted.
Another wrote, “Asap Rocky always happy for Rihanna whenever she performs 👏🏾 #Oscars.”
A third agreed, writing, “ASAP Rocky being Hollywood’s biggest wife guy over the past couple of months is weirdly sweet #oscars.”

As people pointed out on social media, Rocky has been publicly supportive of his longtime girlfriend in the past.
Most recently, the musician was by the Fenty Beauty founder’s side at the 2023 Golden Globes, where her song “Lift Me Up” was again nominated.
Rocky was also was most memorably seen rooting for Rihanna amid her performance at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show in February.
He was seen holding up his smartphone to record the superstar as she sang on one of the biggest stages in the world and was filled with glee throughout.
Additionally, Rocky wore a custom jacket that featured Rihanna’s tattooed hand holding a football on the back to honor the “Diamonds” singer on her big night.
Olivia Wilde took to her Instagram at the time to comment on the “Everyday” rapper’s supportive ways, writing over a screenshot of him, “If I thought he was hot before, this really put me over the edge.”
However, the”Don’t Worry Darling” director, 39, went viral for her cringey remark after it was deemed “inappropriate” by many.
Wilde then removed the post and said in her defense to those “who got it twisted” that she meant, “It’s hot to respect your partner. Especially when your partner just did thaaaaaat.”
Rihanna and Rocky have been dating since 2020.
They welcomed their first child together, a son, in May 2022. At the Super Bowl, the “Diamonds” singer revealed that she and the “A$AP Forever” rapper have a second baby on the way.
