Even Britney loves Target.
Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, made a run to the big box store yesterday while trying on matching outfits in the dressing room — and it turns out their cheerful pink button-ups and gray caps are both budget-friendly clearance finds.
Asghari, 28, posted a video of the pair on his Instagram Story, writing “matching outfits at target” with a crying laughing emoji as the two made the retailer’s dressing room their runway.
Posing in pink men’s short-sleeve Van Heusen shirts that are marked down to $21, Spears, 41, and her husband rocked the palm-tree print button-front style along with matching gray Goodfellow & Co. newsboy-style caps ($14, originally $16.99).
The “Toxic” singer paired her shirt with a short blue skirt, slouchy brown boots and a long-sleeved white tee, while her husband wore his with a short-sleeve gray shirt and black shorts.
The pair — who got married at their California home last summer after Asghari popped the question in September 2021 — appeared to be having a ball trying on the spring-like looks as they rocked different poses in the dressing room mirror.
Spears looked in good spirits as she danced and laughed along with her husband at the budget retailer after briefly deactivating her Instagram account last month and claiming she was “not having a breakdown.”
Their outing comes after fans questioned the “Baby One More Time” singer’s mental health, even calling the cops to her house for a wellness check in late January.
In a since-deleted caption on Instagram, Spears wrote that “everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN !!!”
“It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!” the “Lucky” singer added.
However, on Thursday it was revealed that Spears’ family planned an intervention for the superstar as their concerns grow for her mental health.
An insider told Page Six, however, that the intervention was “unnecessary.” They said, “Unfortunately, there is a lot of hysteria in the media right now, but Britney is fine, and much of this has been overblown and grossly distorted.”
