Coco Austin has a new bathtime routine for Chanel.
After getting plenty of backlash for still bathing her and Ice-T’s 6-year-old daughter in the kitchen sink, the devoted mom recently shared a photo of Chanel soaking in the bathtub.
“Bathtime… lol,” the 43-year-old captioned an Instagram post on Thursday.
“I always joke and say I don’t have 1 kid I have 4,” she added, referring to the couple’s three bulldogs that stood behind the tub.
Her latest Instagram post comes three months after Austin was slammed for bathing her daughter in the kitchen sink before heading to Patricia Fields’ fashion show.
“The sink is easiest when you have to be fast,” she captioned the Sept. 22 Instagram video, which featured her younger sitting in soapy water while looking at her iPad.
The video prompted mixed reactions from social media users, many of whom felt it was not appropriate to bathe a 6-year-old in the kitchen sink.
“She isn’t an infant anymore bathing her in the sink and her still being in a stroller at 6 girl let her grow up,” one fan wrote.
“She definitely old enough to bathe herself. With the breastfeeding n all, it’s creepy af how hard she is trying to keep this girl in an infantile stage,” added another, referring to the times Austin’s been criticized for breastfeeding her daughter, letting her get acrylic nails and pushing her in a stroller.
Austin later took to Twitter to defend her “unconventional” decision to bathe Chanel in the kitchen.
“Wow just Wow! Here we go again!” she tweeted on Sept. 25. “Giving my lil girl a bath in the sink went Viral? SMH!
“People, you gotta know by now that I’m an unconventional mother,” Austin added. “I do what works and is easier on me. Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!”
The following month, Austin doubled down on her parenting skills, telling Page Six that “people have got to say something” about everything she does.
“But now it’s kinda weird to other people,” the former “Ice Loves Coco” star told us in October. “Like, really? If you are a mom you have bathed your child in the sink.”
The hate even caused Ice-T, 64, to defend his wife online after an article speaking about her parenting skills was shared by CNN.
“Lol… CNN? Really? MFs ain’t got s–t else to talk about. F em all. Smh. Lol,” the “Law & Order: SVU” star tweeted in May.
