John Stamos is still mourning the loss of his good pal and former co-star Bob Saget.
The “Full House” alum shared that he can’t believe the anniversary of the comic’s January 2022 death is coming up.
“I’ve cried so much about it still,” the actor exclusively told Page Six at the opening of the new Broadway musical “Some Like It Hot” on Sunday night.
“All I can do is keep talking about him, keep his memory alive.”
Stamos — who shares a 4-year-old son named Billy with wife Caitlin McHugh — added that it saddens him Saget isn’t “around to see my son be funny.”
Saget died unexpectedly last January at the age 65 and the two, who met while starring in “Full House” had been close friends for decades.
“I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock,” he tweeted hours after Saget’s death was announced. “I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
At the Broadway opening, the “You” star also told Page Six about working on Amazon Freevee’s “Open Book,” which is inspired by Jessica Simpson’s memoir.
In it, he plays a “kind of f–ked up rock star” who has spent his entire career on “booze and women and drugs” until he meets a young singer “and we end up writing some music together and teach each other about life and death.”
Stamos confesses that he can relate to the character’s vices.
“I came close to that,” he explained. “I straightened up seven and a half years ago but I’ve certainly since met a lot of people like that. And it’s sad….But this show kind of shines a light on how s–tty it is.”
Other celebs at the opening night of the musical, based on the Marilyn Monroe movie, included Bette Midler, Martin Short, Patti LuPone, Debra Messing, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Mathew Broderick with their kids and Andy Cohen.
