The “Scandoval” affair may have left most people clutching their pearls, but Katie Maloney wasn’t one of them.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed she “wasn’t shocked” to hear that Tom Sandoval was embroiled in a months-long affair with co-star Raquel Leviss behind Ariana Madix’s back.
“I wasn’t shocked, but the details were shocking,” the 36-year-old told Andy Cohen on Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” adding, “I wasn’t shocked that it was Raquel.”
After issuing a PSA to Bravo fans ahead of last night’s “Pump Rules” episode, Cohen reiterated that the scenes were not edited since news of the affair came to light.
“It was as it happened,” Cohen said on “WWHL.”
“The interviews that you did in tonight’s episode were before you found out about Tom [Sandoval] and Raquel’s affair.”
“Especially this comment,” he said, turning to Maloney. “You said, ‘I’m starting to see a pattern in Raquel. It seems she is only interested in men that her friends are either married to or interested in, and that is a big red flag for me.’”
And when Cohen asked if anything else shocked Maloney after watching last night’s episode with the knowledge she has now, one thing stood out to Tom Schwartz’s ex-wife in particular.
“Just her coming at Lala [Kent] calling her a mistress, I mean just the level of …stupidity,” she said.
Cohen then asked if Maloney thought her ex-husband was “just a pawn” in the affair.
“Yeah, part of me believes that he was duped,” she said, adding that she thinks both Sandoval and Leviss “duped” Schwartz.
Maloney went on to update fans on how Madix is doing, saying she’s “in a really good headspace, all things considered.”
“She’s taking care of herself. I saw her yesterday and we’re excited. She’s excited,” the Bravolebrity added.
For her part, Madix broke her silence over the affair on Wednesday night, saying she’s been “devastated and broken” since finding out the news, but thanked her friends and fans for “the outpouring of love and support.”

“So many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels,” she wrote to her 1.4 million followers on the platform alongside a snap of herself out in Mexico.
“I am so f–king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me,” she wrote in part.
“What doesn’t kill me better run,” she concluded her lengthy caption.
