Kim Kardashian is keeping it real.
The beauty chameleon gave fans a rare glimpse at her natural hair — sans extensions or wigs — on TikTok over the weekend, ahead of her return to her signature long, dark waves for her family’s Christmas Eve party.
In a clip posted to Kardashian and daughter North’s shared account, the pair lip-sync to “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” with the mom of four’s honey-colored, shoulder-length and seemingly damp strands swept to one side.
It’s possible the footage was filmed as Kardashian, 42, was transitioning from the platinum blond dye job she’s been rocking since May’s 2022 Met Gala — a key component of her transformation into Marilyn Monroe for the night — back to her usual brunette.

“I am keeping it for a little bit,” the star told Interview of her lighter locks in September. “I feel like in the fall I’ll go dark, just because I don’t want to damage my hair. But, I do think blondes have more fun. I just feel different.”
Indeed, bleaching Kardashian’s hair for the Met was no easy feat; as she told Vogue at the time, the mane makeover took 14 hours from start to finish.

“It really is a process,” Kardashian’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton, told E! News post-gala. “We were fully comfortable and ready to go because we both knew it was gonna be a long session. Kim’s done the color before. She knows.”
Indeed, the Skims founder has tried out red, pink and even neon green hair over the years; most recently, she tested a honey hue during Art Basel in Miami in early December.
