“Real Housewives of Miami” star Larsa Pippen doesn’t mind the haters. In fact, the feisty reality TV star invites anyone jealous of her to keep on hating, as evidenced by her tagline for Season 5 of the show: “Hate All You Want, ‘Cause If I Were You, I’d Hate Me Too.”
The ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen was already creating drama on the first episode of the season, which dropped Thursday night on Peacock, by alleging that castmate Lisa Hochstein rents out her Star Island mansion to help pay her mortgage.
The catfight started at Larsa’s housewarming party at her posh Miami penthouse, which she labeled her “New Beginnings” bash. Word got back to Larsa that Lisa had made disparaging remarks about her new flashy building, and Larsa pushed back hard with a dig about rumors surrounding Lisa’s home and financial situation.
“What Lisa said about my building, it hit a nerve,” Larsa, 48, told The Post. “It was just hurtful because I would never in a million years judge a woman who’s earning her own living and working hard. I feel like it’s not fair.
“I’ve always had to earn everything that I’ve gotten,” she continued. “When I was married to Scottie, I handled his life and the kids. In this chapter of my life, I’m working so hard to be an entrepreneur with all my brands. I want to prove to everyone that, hey, I’m not just a housewife. I wasn’t just married to a basketball player. There’s way more to me.”
And while the bickering between Larsa and Lisa continues over the next few episodes of RHOM, the two are close friends in real life. “At the end of the day, Lisa and I love each other,” she said.
Larsa has been especially sympathetic to Lisa as her traumatic divorce from her “Boob God” plastic surgeon husband, Lenny Hochstein, was revealed.
“I know how hard it is when you have lived this lifestyle and have young kids and suddenly you have to figure out your life. It’s a scary place to wake up one day and realize your life is never going to be the same,” Larsa said. “I’ve been helping Lisa handle things with Lenny, especially when it comes to the kids. When you go through a divorce, there’s an ugly phase, right? And so I just wanted her to think about the kids when it’s crazy at times.”
Those ugly times are behind Scottie and Larsa, who wed in 1997, split in 2015, reunited in 2017, separated in 2018, and finally divorced in December 2021. As parents to Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 20, Justin, 17, and Sophia, 13, the two share 50-50 custody of the younger kids and have a good relationship. Larsa commutes to Los Angeles to be with her children and cheer on her eldest son, basketball player Scotty, who was signed by the LA Lakers this year.
According to Larsa, her other kids are just as talented: Justin has basketball aspirations like his big brother and father, while Preston is more entrepreneurial like his mom. Daughter Sophia is modeling and dancing and, in 2018, appeared on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.”
“I’m really involved in my kids’ lives, and they all live with me in LA — even my 22-year-old son,” the jewelry designer said. “The day-to-day parenting is still pretty intense. But they’re old enough now where they can do what makes them happy.”
And now that she is “single and ready to mingle,” Larsa has been seen all over Miami and LA with reported new flame Marcus Jordan, 31, the son of Pippen’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan.
“We are friends,” Larsa declared of Jordan. “We’ve been friends for the last couple of years and I’m in a place right now where I’m finally open to dating. Every time I’m seen out with someone, [people] make it out to be more than it actually is, and it’s normally nothing. So, yeah, I’m just dating right now and focusing on my businesses, my family, and having fun.
“People want to label your relationship when they don’t know what it is. But I don’t really care what other people think.”
The one person’s opinion that does matter is her father’s. Recently, he asked her to stop posting on OnlyFans.
“My dad doesn’t even know what OnlyFans is,” Larsa said, laughing. “He just heard about it from someone, and he didn’t like it. It’s deterred me from going on the app as much as I normally would have. But I love OnlyFans. It’s an amazing platform. I think it’s great that you can have a real relationship with your fans and your followers.”
She’s still on the sexy app but has slowed down the frequency of her posts. However, one type of photo always generates buzz on OnlyFans. “My foot pics are killing it,” Larsa acknowledged of her foot-fetish fans. “I post a lot of photos of my feet on OnlyFans and people seem to love my feet.”
Another popular appendage is her booty, which was a hot topic this season as RHOM castmate Adriana de Moura discussed getting a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) after having previously made fun of Larsa’s derriere.
Plastic surgery doesn’t faze Larsa; she’s admitted to having her lips, nose, and boobs done. “I’ll get almost anything done if it’s going to make me feel better,” she added.
But she was incredulous when Adrianna asked her to accompany her to a BBL procedure.
“I don’t understand Adriana,” Larsa said. “Like she hates on me, but then she wants advice from me. I don’t have time for that.”
When she’s not filming, attending Lakers games, or cooking for her family (lasagna is her go-to dish), Larsa works on her eponymous jewelry line, Larsa Marie, which she started in 2020. The stackable pieces range from $300 to $30,000 and can be found at saks.com.
“It’s for women who want to feel like they’re dressed up even if they’re in sweats,” Larsa described. “I love wearing sweats and jewelry.”
The serial entrepreneur also invested in Halo Collar, which tracks pets’ movements and creates an invisible fence for safety. The brand was introduced in Season 5 when Larsa threw a “Pawty” for her dog, King. Adding to the over-the-top absurdity of the occasion, all the housewives brought their pooches, but Julia Lemigova brought Elvis — her goat.
“I don’t know what Julia was thinking bringing a goat to a dog’s birthday party,” Larsa said, “especially because Elvis was headbutting all the dogs.”
But despite the in-fighting, drama, and farm animals, Larsa vibes well with her fellow RHOM castmates because they share common ground. “I love being around the other women,” she said. “We’re all very different, but at the same time, we come together when we need each other. We have this sense of camaraderie.”
Initially, Larsa appeared on Season 1 of RHOM, which debuted in 2011, then bowed out. “Scotty didn’t really want me to do the show,” she recalled. “We were at a place where he let me do it, but he didn’t want to be a part of it.” It was only when they split up that Larsa rejoined the cast for Season 4 when the franchise was rebooted by Peacock last year.
“I was in a different situation the second time around,” she said. “I was ready to show more of myself and be more open. And I’m holding all the girls accountable this season. If you want to be a good friend, then be a good friend.”
One friend she no longer sees is her former bestie, Kim Kardashian. In fact, the two avoided each other at a recent Art Basel party in Miami.
Their friendship dissolved during Kim’s divorce from Kanye West. “I was best friends with Kim,” Larsa said during a Season 4 confessional on RHOM, “and I love her, and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle. I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything.”
When asked about it now, Larsa is more empathetic: “I feel like a lot of women have been in my situation. When I was going through my separation, my ex-husband blamed other people. That happens a lot. And I didn’t realize that until it happened to me.”
