Meghan Trainor is planning to become a family of six with Daryl Sabara, saying it’s her “dream” to get pregnant in the upcoming year.
When asked about her goals for 2023, the mom of one told People on Tuesday, “Hopefully, I’ll be pregnant. I’m trying to make four children, so I’ve got to get on it.”
“After having a baby, I was like, there’s nothing I can’t do,” she continued, adding, “So now I’m just trying to knock off all my dreams on my dream list.”
Despite her tough first few days with 1-year-old Riley, Trainor is not letting her not-so-smooth first pregnancy scare her from doing it all over again.
The “All About that Bass” singer, 28, welcomed her son via C-section on Valentine’s Day 2021 after being breech.
After developing “breathing issues,” he was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit where he relied on a feeding tube for five days.
“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry,” the singer said at the time. “He didn’t make noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’ It was terrifying.”
“I got to see him for one second before they took him away,” Trainor went on. “That was probably the worst part.”
After a week at the NICU, Trainor and Sabara, 30, were able to take Riley home.
She later revealed that the nurses who took care of her and her son implied that his health issues arose from her using antidepressants during her pregnancy.
“They kept asking me if I was on antidepressants during the pregnancy, and I was, but on the lowest dose possible,” she told Romper back in September. “It was really f–ked up.”
Trainor met Sabara, who starred in the “Spy Kids” franchise, at a house party in 2014. The pair got engaged in 2017 and married the following year.
