Meet Phoenix!
Paris Hilton revealed the name of her and Carter Reum‘s newborn on her “This Is Paris” podcast Wednesday.
“My beautiful baby boy’s name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum,” she said. “And Carter and I are so proud to welcome him into the world.”
The hotel heiress, 41, shared that she plans on naming her future daughter London and was hoping to stay on theme by naming her son after a different city.
“I’ve been planning my children’s names for years and years,” she explained, noting that Phoenix also stands for “hope, rebirth and transformation.”
Not only does Phoenix’s first name carry significance, but Hilton went on to say she chose his middle name in honor of her late grandfather, Barron Hilton.
“He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close, and I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name,” she said.
Hilton surprised her Instagram followers with a photo of her baby boy’s hand on Jan. 25 after welcoming him via surrogate.
“You are already loved beyond words 💙,” the “Simple Life” alum wrote.
Hilton’s A-list pals flooded the comments section with supportive messages.
“a BABY!!!!! congratulations,” Chrissy Teigen gushed, while Kim Kardashian wrote, “So happy for you guys!!!”
The new mom’s sister-in-law, Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff, added, “So beautiful! Welcome to the world our beautiful baby!!”
Nicky Hilton, meanwhile, welcomed her sister to motherhood in a post of her own.
“So so incredibly happy for youuu! 🥰,” the fashion designer, who shares three children with husband James Rothschild, wrote. “It’s the most beautiful ride. There is no greater love. You are going to be the best mommy. What a lucky boy! 💙.”
Paris began dating Reum in December 2019. The entrepreneur proposed to the hotel heiress in February 2021, and they married in November of that same year.
Paris has hinted at their family plans multiple times since their Bel-Air nuptials.
When the reality star’s mom, Kathy Hilton, told E! News that Paris was “trying” and “strugg[ling]” to conceive her first child in November 2022, Paris clarified to TMZ that she had “tons of embryos that have all just been waiting.”
She went on to write via Instagram Stories that her “Cutesy Crew” was coming.
The businesswoman added, “My husband and I always wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple.
“IVF is always a journey for everyone but we are so fortunate,” she continued at the time.
