Designer Stacey Bendet had some unique car trouble at her Alice + Olivia presentation over the weekend at Highline Stages.
The show for the collection, “American Icon,” took guests including Nicky Hilton, Coco Rocha, Devon Windsor and Huma Abedin through different pop culture moments — with installations featuring Andy Warhol’s famed soup cans as well as “your ’90s kitchen cabinet [full of things] that your not allowed to eat anymore,” Bendet told us.
“Every scene is supposed to represent America,” she explained. “There is a supermarket scene, a rock ‘n’ roll scene.”
But one of her plans didn’t work out.
“I had a road trip scene and this vintage Wrangler that was supposed to be part of the set, and they wouldn’t let it come in because of [the] fire code,” she told us.

Instead, “I have a really cool car outside,” she said while laughing. The vehicle was a hit with influencers and passersby who sought a pic with the red truck filled with balloons.
The show also featured female skateboarders showing off tricks on a ramp amongst the sequined, ruffled and studded frocks.

Plenty of kids were spotted at the youthful show, friends of Bendet’s three young children, but one tiny tyke stood out in the front row of the photography pit.
Myles Minishotta, 10, was snapping away while his mom watched proudly from the side.
“I used to shoot so he just started taking the camera from me,” mom Shay Moore tells us. “He’s been shooting NYFW since he was six.”
According to the kid’s own website, he’s already snapped celebs like T.I., DJ Khalid, Gucci Mane and Saweetie.
“He comes to every show, he’s an amazing photographer,” Bendet told us.
