No bad blood here!
Taylor Swift couldn’t stop and wouldn’t stop moving during ex-boyfriend Harry Styles’ 2023 Grammy Awards performance Sunday night.
The former One Direction frontman, 29, brought the house down with a rendition of “As It Was” from his Grammy-winning “Harry’s House” album.
The moment Styles — who wowed in a silver metallic-fringe jumpsuit — took the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Swift “popped right out of her seat” and “started dancing,” we’re told.
“She danced the entire song” and was “the only person dancing in her section” during the performance, our spy tells us.
Swift — who took home the Grammy Award for Best Music Video — looked abs-olutely amazing in a “Midnights” blue ensemble comprised of a long-sleeved turtleneck crop top and high-waisted skirt.
Styles — who rocked multi-colored, sequin overalls on the red carpet — and the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker, 33, dated for a brief three months from October 2012 to January 2013.
The pair of pop stars sent their respective fandoms into a total frenzy when they were photographed canoodling in Central Park that December — a relationship-defining moment that Styles has spoken about in the past.
“When I see photos from that day, I think: Relationships are hard, at any age,” he told Rolling Stone in 2017. “And adding in that you don’t really understand exactly how it works when you’re 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn’t make it easier.”
He continued, “I mean, you’re a little bit awkward to begin with. You’re on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure. But at the heart of it — I just wanted it to be a normal date.”
Of the two Swift songs considered to be about their short-lived romance — “Out of the Woods” and “Style” — Styles told the magazine, “I write from my experiences; everyone does that. I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That’s what hits your heart.”
He later added, “Certain things don’t work out. There’s a lot of things that can be right, and it’s still wrong. In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together.
“You’re celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than ‘this didn’t work out, and that’s bad.’ And if you run into that person, maybe it’s awkward, maybe you have to get drunk … but you shared something.”
“Perfect” — a song Styles co-wrote for One Direction — is believed to be about Swift, as the now-defunct band sings, “And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out / And if you’re looking for someone to write your breakup songs about / Baby, I’m perfect.”
Styles and Swift’s Grammys rapport has certainly improved since their split.
In fact, fans speculated that the former country singer shaded the UK native during her opening performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” at the 2013 show.
In a British accent, Swift said into the mic, “So he calls me up, and he’s like, ‘I still love you,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys. And we’re never getting back together, like, ever.’”
