Getting her reunion receipts ready.
Teresa Giudice says she’s watching “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” for the first time to “educate” herself on things her brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, have said about her amid their ongoing feud.
“I just wanted to educate myself and to see what my brother and sister-in-law were saying about me,” the reality star, 50, told People.
Giudice credited Bravo fan Instagram accounts for inspiring her to watch – after seeing quotes and scenes they posted from earlier episodes that she had never seen.
“I’m watching and I’m like, ‘My brother said that? My sister-in-law said that?’ So then I started watching and I’m like, ’Now, I got my answer,’” she said.
“Good thing I didn’t watch it back then, because now I’m seeing what my brother and my sister-in-law was saying about me back then, oh my God. It was like a knife right through my heart. I think I would’ve reacted differently if I would’ve watched the show,” she continued.
Giudice explained that she never used to watch the show, because it was “so hard for me to relive it.”
Her rocky relationship with the Gorgas, both 43, has played out since they joined her on the show in Season 3 in 2011. Giudice’s other on-screen struggles include her mom and dad’s deaths, returning home from prison and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, getting deported.
Despite having a tumultuous relationship with the Gorgas over the years, the three were recently on good terms until they had a major falling out at the end of filming Season 13 of the hit Bravo show.
Page Six broke the news that the Gorga family would not be attending Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August after some of her co-stars spread an allegation that she had cheated on Joe with actor Nick Barrotta.
However, an insider told us at the time that the rumors were “ridiculous” and that the Gorgas were “laughing about it.”
The two families have yet to repair their strained relationship, and Teresa recently insinuated that she’s not looking to change that in the coming year.
