Tom Brady made his first red carpet appearance since he and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen divorced.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 45, attended Tuesday night’s Los Angeles premiere of “80 for Brady,” starring Jane Fonda, Sally Field, Rita Moreno and Lily Tomlin.
Brady, who appears in the film as well, looked tense at first before cracking a smile for the paps. He even threw a peace sign in their direction at one point.
The star athlete seemed much more comfortable when the rest of his castmates, including a starstruck Fonda, posed by his side.
In his Instagram, he noted how the red carpet was just like the Super Bowl “but [with] more cameras!”
He even poked fun at this “awkwardness” by asking his Twitter fans what one should do with their “hands at a movie premiere” as he shared a video from the red carpet.
For the outing, which he seemingly attended on his own, he rocked a black leather jacket paired with a white sweater, black pants and black shoes.
Aside from the cast and Billy Porter walking the red carpet, Lisa Rinna made an appearance at the premiere with husband Harry Hamlin and daughter Delilah Hamlin tagging along.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star accessorized her feathered and sparkly dress with a football clutch.
The athlete’s night out comes nearly four months after his divorce from Bündchen, 42, was finalized. The former couple — who share son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10 — had been married for 13 years.
Brady’s surprising choice to unretire from the NFL reportedly cost him his marriage to Bündchen.
In September 2022, sources told Page Six the football player and supermodel were living apart after getting into an “epic fight” over his choice to go back.
“Gisele has always been the one with the kids,” a source exclusively told us at the time. “They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind.”
Bündchen addressed her “concerns” about Brady’s career in an interview with Elle magazine that same month. (Brady also shares son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.)
“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she told the publication, adding that she has “definitely had those conversations with [Brady] over and over again.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is expected to share more about her split from Brady in a forthcoming Vanity Fair cover story interview, a source exclusively told Page Six on Tuesday.
A VF spokesperson told us the magazine doesn’t address editorial rumors, but one Condé Nast insider said, “I could see this as a cover to celebrate Earth Month in April, as that’s a subject close to Gisele’s heart. But it could also be a summer cover.”
